The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 is one of the premium Android tablets that Lenovo unveiled at IFA 2026, along with the MediaTek-based Yoga Tab Gen 2. Featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, it has now received its first discount in the US, dropping the price from $999.99 to $799.99.
For that price, the tablet comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The package also includes the new Tab Pen Pro 2 and a detachable keyboard folio with backlit keys and a metal body.
However, the highlight of this tablet is the display. It’s not OLED, but the 13-inch panel offers crisp 4K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It reaches up to 1,100 nits of brightness in HDR, with support for Dolby Vision and up to 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. This should make it suitable for multimedia use and gaming, with the included pen adding space for drawing and other creative work.
The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 runs Android 17 out of the box. It is expected to receive major OS updates up to Android 24, along with seven years of security updates until 2033. Other features include six Harman Kardon speakers, an 8MP front camera, and 13MP and 2MP rear cameras. That said, the tablet is a bit thicker than the iPad Pro, OnePlus Pad 3, and Galaxy Tab S11, although it comes with a larger 12,700 mAh battery.
