iPhone Duo pre-orders will officially begin on Friday, but Apple is letting you get ready now. Starting today, you can go to the Apple Store Online or the Apple Store app and save the exact configuration of your iPhone Duo.
Apple has been offering this “get ready to pre-order” window for the past few years. It allows you to streamline the pre-order process by preparing key details in advance. This includes the iPhone Duo’s color, storage, and carrier options.
You can also prepare the payment method for pre-ordering your iPhone Duo. You can pay in full, finance with Apple Card, participate in the Apple Upgrade program, or check for applicable carrier offers.
If you complete this process early, you can check out in a couple of taps when iPhone Duo pre-orders officially begin Friday morning.
The new “get ready” option is available today and will likely last most of the day on Friday, October 15th. You will then need to return to the Apple Store app or website on Friday, October 16 at 5am PT/8am ET to finalize your order.
