Apple has an unreleased iPad mini Smart Folio listed on its French regulatory website, suggesting that a new iPad mini is on the way. Case model number A3632 does not match current or previous iPad mini cases.
Apple appears to have recently added the case to its website, and it’s listed alongside iPhone 18 Pro accessories added in September.
The listing doesn’t include any specifics of the iPad mini, but suggests changes to the design of the device it’s intended for since a new Smart Folio could mean current cases won’t fit the next iPad mini.
Rumors suggest that the iPad mini 8 with an OLED display and a more water-resistant design will be introduced on October 27 or 28 alongside an OLED MacBook Pro. The Smart Folio A3632 could be for OLED iPad mini.
