German-language dark comedy “Where’s Wanda?” is back on Apple TV, with the first episode of its second season now streaming. Here are the details.
“Where’s Wanda?” The season 2 premiere is now available to stream
After announcing the return of “Where’s Wanda?” in July and after releasing a trailer just a couple of weeks ago, Apple TV has now premiered the first episode of season two.
Tonight’s premiere comes nearly two years after the first season ended on November 13, 2024. Apple TV renewed the series for a second season the following February, but it wasn’t until July 2026 that the company announced the return date.
“Where’s Wanda?” follows the Klatt family as they search for their missing daughter. After becoming frustrated with the local police’s handling of the investigation, they decide to take matters into their own hands, uncovering their neighbors’ dark secrets along the way.
After tonight’s premiere, the remaining seven episodes of “Where’s Wanda?” season 2 will release weekly until December 9th.
Here’s Apple TV’s take on what to expect from Season 2 of “Where’s Wanda?”:
In season 2, the Klatts (Makatsch and Stein) are back! Just as they thought their lives were finally returning to normal, their daughter, Wanda (Drinda), is caught apparently red-handed next to a dead body. They will have to do everything in their power to prove her innocence and avoid losing her again, as their investigation to find the real killer takes them into the criminal underbelly of their sleepy suburban town. But will their attempt to protect their family get them out of trouble or, ultimately, lead them further astray? And can they uncover the truth about what happened on that fateful day before it’s too late?
