We’re about to let people know that Amazon’s Prime Day fall sale is getting a head start today: The AirPods Pro 3 are now down to one of the lowest prices to date $179 shipped.
While we’re about 48 hours away from the fall Prime Big Deal Days, Amazon is starting things well early and is now offering Apple’s flagship AirPods Pro 3 starting at $179 shipped.
The current generation Pro lists for $249, and while we’ve hit them at $199 a few times this summer, they’ve now dropped even lower to offer a very steep discount at $70.
Apple did it very simply by launching its brand new AirPods 5 in two versions: the base set with ANC for $129 and the upgraded set with the wireless charging case. ANC on Apple’s just-released new set at $129 offers serious value if you ask me, but it’ll cost you $149 if you want the model with the wireless charging case, and now you can get the AirPods Pro 3 for just $30 more, too.
Pro 3 offers 3x better active noise cancellation, longer battery life, much more advanced health features like built-in heart rate tracking capabilities, hearing aid capabilities, and more.

The basic AirPods 5 at $129 are a solid buy, but the much more advanced AirPods Pro 3 at $179 that’s a pretty hefty discount, and we’ve only tracked it once before today.
The discount comes just a few weeks after Apple rolled out a slew of new features to AirPods Pro 3 alongside iOS 27. The update included much-requested custom EQ features:
“AirPods are designed and built by Apple to faithfully represent music, TV shows, movies, and calls… If you prefer a different audio profile, you can customize how AirPods represent any audio you play.”
Other new features include new ways to control adaptive audio, better Find My integration, and more.
