Apple is set to reveal its revamped smart home strategy on October 13 alongside new hardware like the Home Hub, but that’s not all that’s coming in October. Check out the latest rumors on the AppleInsider podcast.

It seems we know everything and nothing about Apple’s October 13 announcements. While the new Apple TV 4K, updated HomePod mini, and Home Hub tablet are basically guaranteed at this point, there’s a lot we don’t know.

The use and function of the Home Hub tablet is easy enough to understand, but Apple’s presentation will make or break the product. It’s expected to be accompanied by a revamped Apple Home strategy, which will hopefully also mean a new Home app.

A second October event is said to take place just before Halloween and will feature updates for the Mac M6. The likely candidates this time would be the iMac and the rumored OLED MacBook Pro with touchscreen.

The hosts also discuss the logistics of repairing the internal display of an iPhone Duo. The promise of an accessible and affordable repair option brings a lot of relief to future owners of the expensive foldable.
