Apple has something special planned for customers who purchase an iPhone Duo at an Apple Store. Employees will be able to customize Duo to display the shopper’s name on the “Hello” screen when it first turns on.

BloombergMark Gurman from says that Apple retail stores in the US will have a customization system for adding the buyer’s name to an ‌iPhone Duo‌, with English and Spanish language options.

Presumably, the name option will be available for devices ordered for in-store pickup and for devices purchased in person.

The ‌iPhone Duo‌ will be available for pre-order starting October 16th at 5am Pacific Time and will launch on October 23rd. Pricing starts at $1,999.
