An Apple Store update taking place on November 6 strongly suggests that Apple’s OLED iPad mini and touch-enabled MacBook Pro will be available to consumers on or around that date.

Back in August, rumors circulated of an Apple Store update in preparation for Apple’s smart home push, including products like the new HomeView. It now appears that another update is due, coinciding with the introduction of the new Macs and iPads.

Second Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman On Sunday, Apple’s preparation for another major launch event in October will be followed by a store update. Following an event on October 27th and an influencer experience, stores will apparently undergo a “reset” from the evening of November 5th until November 6th.

The restoration is said to involve the use of new signage and a change of products placed on the store’s tables. Since November 6 is a Friday of the week after the new products are scheduled to be introduced, Gurman believes this would be an opportune time for the new products to get into consumers’ hands.

With Apple releasing the iPhone Duo on October 23, the HomePod mini 2 on October 30, and the HomeView and Apple TV 4K on November 13, the addition of products on November 6 makes it four consecutive Fridays of launches.

A busy few weeks

Products scheduled to launch on November 6 and shown at the second event in October will consist of Macs and iPads.

The first flagship item is the iPad mini OLED, which will adapt the compact iPad with the new display technology. The model should also get a change to the FaceTime camera, moving it to landscape orientation.

The other big launch will be the touch-enabled MacBook Pro. Equipped with an OLED display, the model is expected to be lighter than usual and could also have a dynamic island instead of the notch.

Other models thought to make an appearance include a 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M6 chip, as well as an M6 update for the iMac.
