Lenovo has launched a new affordable gaming monitor in China, the Legion 27Q-20. It features a 27-inch IPS panel with a native resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a 320Hz refresh rate.
Unlike the recently launched 27U-20 4K monitor, the 27Q-20 lacks dual-mode support, but it retains AMD FreeSync Premium, Nvidia G-Sync, and AdaptiveSync, which should improve the gaming experience on this monitor.
Another notable selling point is the sleek stand that allows competitive gamers to place their mouse and keyboard close to the monitor. It also features multiple adjustable mechanisms, including vertical and horizontal rotation and vertical lift up to 135mm. There’s also support for VESA mounting (ErGear VESA mount currently $26.99 on Amazon).
The port configuration of this Legion gaming monitor is nothing to write home about, but there are two HDMI 2.1 FRL ports and one DisplayPort 1.4. Lenovo also points out that the panel has 99% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 color coverage, meaning it should be decent for moderate creative content and workloads.
Other highlights include a brightness rating of 400 nits, DisplayHDR 400, and a GtG response rate of 1ms. In China, this Legion 27Q-20 gaming monitor has a launch price of CNY 1,149, around $172. The company hasn’t shared global availability plans yet, but the latest generation 27Q-10 has seen a proper international launch.
