For example, the C401 Smart Camera outputs 4 MP with a 360° horizontal view. Keep in mind that the camera only offers a 101° vertical field of view. Aside from that, the C401 Smart Camera captures footage at up to 2.5K (2,560 x 1,440). Apparently, this video resolution also works with Xiaomi’s “advanced infrared night vision” mode.
Additionally, the C401 Smart Camera supports Bluetooth 5.4 and dual-band Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, as well as Amazon Alexa and Google Home integrations. However, you need to have a device with at least Android 8 or iOS 14.0. Beyond that, Xiaomi claims that its camera can detect people, pets, and unusual sounds. For reference, footage can be stored on a microSD card of up to 512GB; Xiaomi does not include built-in storage. The C401 Smart Camera can be purchased for AUD 64, IDR 699,000, £45.99, and SGD 64.90 (~$50) in Australia, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, and Singapore.
