Dell presented the new UltraSharp U3226QER monitor in China. The company’s new monitor is designed for video editors, graphic designers, and other color-critical tasks that need accurate display for content production. The monitor features a 31.5-inch panel with 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), 16:9 aspect ratio, 120 Hz refresh rate and 600 nits peak brightness.
Dell’s new productivity-focused UltraSharp monitor features IPS Black technology that delivers a 3000:1 contrast ratio and deeper blacks. Color gamut support includes 99% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, and BT.709 with VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification. Since Dell markets the monitor for creative professionals, such as graphic designers and video editors, the UltraSharp U3226QER comes pre-calibrated with DeltaE less than 1.5.
Additionally, users can also change color settings with Dell Color Management. Dell offers an assortment of connectivity options with the UltraSharp U3226QER, including one HDMI 2.1, two DisplayPort 1.4, four 10Gbps USB-A 3.2 ports, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one of which can enable 140W of power delivery. Additionally, at the bottom of the monitor is a retractable hub that houses one USB-A port and two USB-C ports.
Other features include daisy-chaining, KVM switching, TUV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, a 5ms response time (in fast mode), and a low-reflectance coating to reduce glare. Additionally, the monitor features an ambient light sensor that automatically adapts color temperature and brightness to the surrounding light conditions. Like the Dell UltraSharp U3223QE, the U3226QER has an adjustable stand that allows for tilt, swivel, and pivot movements.
