Welcome to Indie App Spotlight. This is a weekly series from 9to5Mac where we showcase the latest apps in the world of indie apps. If you are a developer and would like your app featured, please contact us.
Milepost turns your travels into a journey. It allows you to record all your trips and keep a diary of all the key moments that happened along the way, so that your trips become much more memorable, rather than just a short span of time.
Main features
Most people drive a lot, but much of the experience is forgotten once they reach their destination. Milepost helps you keep track of it, allowing you to save your route, distance, speed, time, and time. You can also take notes, add photos and turn them into a real gallery, which the app calls a roadbook. The roadbook acts as a true history of your trip, and you can even connect Apple Music to see what you were listening to while driving.
Milepost isn’t just about your travels, it’s also meant to be a social experience. You can share your travels with friends thanks to the integrated social network and they can also comment and react to what you share. The app also offers a well-designed garage experience where you can share the cars you own.
The app supports Siri, Shortcuts and CarPlay. It’s available on all Apple platforms, including Mac, where you have a wider view to take a more detailed look at your drive. On top of that, it also offers an MCP server so you can plan future trips with your agents based on what you’ve done in the past.
