While the HomeView home hub will be the main device, Apple’s “Welcome Home” event will finally debut the new Apple TV set-top box and an updated HomePod mini.

Apple is expected to make a major push into the smart home market on October 13, 2026 with what will be called HomeView. Now Bloomberg says that, as expected, there will be new versions of HomePod mini and Apple TV.

Specifically, the report confirms previous rumors regarding the HomePod mini update. It says it will be available in a new set of colors and will feature an S10 processor for faster performance.

These colors were previously reported to include blush pink and forest green for the first time. The previous colors blue, black and white will also be available.

So a new update to the languid Apple TV 4K will see it get a new processor. However, it is said to be the non-Pro version of the A19 rather than the expected A20 Pro.

This new Apple TV will also reportedly feature microphones so users can talk to Siri without the HomePod or Siri Remote. So a revised Siri Remote is said to feature a speaker to help find it.

The new HomePod mini and Apple TV will be available in stores and shipping on October 30.
