Apple will allow customers to pre-order their iPhone Duo starting October 12, four days before orders open on October 16.
Apple’s first foldable iPhone, known as the iPhone Duo, debuted on September 9, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. While the latter two are already available for purchase, those looking to get an iPhone Duo will have to wait until mid-October 2026.
Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo begin at 8 a.m. ET on Friday, October 16, but Apple says its customers can “get ready” for pre-orders starting on October 12.
In essence, it will be possible to customize your iPhone Duo even before the official opening of pre-orders. From October 12 to October 15, you can select your desired accessories, color, carrier, storage option, shipping address, billing address, AppleCare+ plan, and payment method.
Preparing in advance will allow you to pre-order the iPhone Duo much quicker and could help you acquire the device on its expected release day. Given the supply chain limited production rumors, you’ll want all the benefits you can get when ordering the iPhone Duo.
Apple says iPhone Duo availability will begin on October 23.
