Apple’s little speaker returns with a second generation, sporting the same spherical design in some new colors.
The upcoming HomePod mini line swaps the current generation’s yellow and orange for a new blush pink and forest green. However, blue, black and white will return.
The information comes from Apple code, identified by MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris. It showcases the product in the colors mentioned above.
Apple has yet to announce the HomePod mini 2. However, images in the code suggest that a release could be coming soon.
The first-generation HomePod mini made its debut in October 2020. Shortly thereafter, Apple retired the full-size first-generation HomePod.
Apple has allowed the HomePod mini to carry the lineup for almost two full years. In January 2023, it released a full-size second-generation HomePod.
