iOS 27 made its public debut nearly two weeks ago, with the flagship Siri AI feature. While Siri’s AI was revolutionary compared to what had existed before, it still has some flaws. QuillCue aims to fill one of the gaps with Siri AI by providing a custom keyboard that lets you save instructions for later.
Highlights
QuillCue is a pretty great concept. Using custom keyboards on iOS lets you enter fully scripted instructions into Siri AI. Simply swipe down from the top of the screen, switch to your custom keyboard, select your message, and press Enter.
Save a lot of time if you have questions about Siri that you end up asking regularly, but don’t want to type the same thing over and over again. One of the default requests is to find nearby cafes that allow the use of laptops for remote work. Since this is location dependent, it’s always nice to get new results that you may not be aware of.
Of course, you can prescribe any request that Siri AI can handle. QuillCue simply saves you the hassle of having to retype or retype it every time, making Siri AI much easier to use.
If you end up writing a rather long message full of different steps, QuillCue can save you a lot of time, as Siri AI currently has no concept of “skills” or learning from your use. The possibilities are truly endless. The app also offers folders to sort the different suggestions.
Finally, it also offers the ability to import and export prompt libraries, so if you want to share prompts with friends or transfer them between devices, you can do so easily.
