While image quality should be better than that of the Kodak Charmera ($35 at Amazon), as the manufacturer’s sample photos show, the Yashica Y16 is clearly a toy camera. At least the camera can also record video clips. Yashica offers the camera in seven colors: green, orange, red, light blue, baby pink, butter yellow, and black.
Prices and availability
The Yashica Y16 compact camera is now available for pre-order for $115 plus shipping and import costs from the Yashica online store with deliveries expected in late November. The camera comes with an 8GB microSD memory card.
