To promote the new MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR display, Apple is hosting a live stream in which singer-songwriter Labrinth will create a song from scratch overnight at the company’s Tower Theater store in downtown Los Angeles. Watch the live stream below.
Last week, Apple announced the new MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR display at a special event in Los Angeles, where it invited members of the press and content creators to take a look at the redesigned laptop.
Now, Apple continues its Los Angeles-focused promotional campaign with another event, this time involving singer-songwriter Labrinth.
Starting at 8pm PT / 11pm ET tonight, Labrinth will spend the night at the Apple Tower Theater store in downtown Los Angeles, creating an entire song from scratch using the new MacBook Pro and Logic Pro.
The entire process will be live-streamed on his YouTube channel, allowing viewers to follow him in real time and ask questions as he works. Apple says the final song will be released next week.
Tonight’s live stream comes ahead of the launch of the new MacBook Pro this Friday, November 6.
During demos last week, Apple showed off the laptop’s music production capabilities, including the ability to play virtual instruments directly on its touchscreen using Logic Pro.
Tune in below starting at 8pm PT / 11pm ET to watch Labrinth create his new song live from Apple’s Tower Theater store.
