Included in today’s macOS 27.3 beta 1 is a beautiful screensaver featuring an animated version of the new MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display wallpaper. Watch it below.
The new MacBook Pro wallpaper is also a screensaver
As with most new Macs, Apple has designed a stunning looking wallpaper to celebrate the launch of the new MacBook Pro.
Continuing its tradition of incorporating product names into its wallpapers, the new design features a series of flowing, metallic-looking lines that spell out the word “PRO.”
Unsurprisingly, the design has also proved divisive, with some users saying it reminds them of a broken, faulty screen. Of course, the timing is particularly unfortunate, given recent reports of display issues affecting the iPhone Duo.
That said, today’s release of macOS 27.3 beta includes a screensaver version of the wallpaper, called Pro Light, in which the light slowly moves along metallic-looking lines, illuminating different parts of the “PRO” text while others fade into darkness.
