Reddit has announced the introduction of a new For You feed, powered by algorithms that tries to find new communities and threads that match your interests. Luckily you don’t need to use it…
The platform says it will combine content from both subreddits you follow and ones it thinks you might like.
For you combine posts from communities you’ve joined with recommendations related to your interests. It can help you discover relevant communities and conversations you might not otherwise encounter […]
This new feed experience is a first step in fostering discovery that leads to something new and relevant: an idea, a connection, a unique perspective, or even a new interest. A more human Internet isn’t just something you sit on and watch, it’s something you find value in and want to participate in.
Luckily, you can stick to the Following feed, which shows posts only from communities you’ve joined.
